Just reading these lovely and heartfelt tributes alone, sends a deep sense of loss as one of my generation has gone ahead spiritually. We didn't see much after leaving secondary school around 1983-4 as people got on with their lives, and I can see Maurice certainly spread his wings and lived to the fullest. Some people you can't quite remember from school but I remember Maurice like it was yesterday. I am sorry we only had fleeting moments as we grew as well you know, teenagers, hormones and identity forming, makes you not say what you really want to or behave as you ought. But all that in hind sight. Maurice had a regalness about him. Unique! Never slouched, head held high, poised and always a smile. Secretly I had a crush at some point ☺️. All part of growing up.... Well, this sad loss of Maurice has taught me to live life the way you want to and to cherish the precious moments that can never return. It was good to see you at certain functions when you returned to the UK though, and your temperament never changed. I pray we meet and go to a school again in paradise which is where I'm sure you are Maurice as you deserve to be. That time I'll speak more with you. Life is short but you made the most of it following your dreams and ambitions in the process. May your legacy live on through your family who must be strong for the future. Love to all ❤🥂🙏🌹x Paula
