Every single time Uncle Maurice saw me, he would have the biggest smile and say “wagwaan, my girl” and would give me the biggest hug. He did this every time without fail ever since I’ve known him. It made me smile every single time. He made me feel so special and so loved, like I was his blood. I loved all the times he would come by and listen to music with my dad, and how he would make fun of him to make me laugh. I always loved how he managed to treat me like an adult (even when I wasn’t yet), and did so while being so kind and warm. He was really something special and will be missed so so much. ♥️
